Engineering New Zealand is on a mission to ignite career prospects in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) for New Zealand’s youth through The Wonder Project. Running as a free program for schools, The Wonder Project is designed to get young Kiwis enthusiastic about STEM by creating interactive learning modules that improve students’ understanding of this field. Our Project Engineer from New Zealand, Saadia Ali, has volunteered in The Rocket Challenge and is currently mentoring students from schools in STEM. Not only has this built the confidence among students, it has also paved the way for future STEM teaching programs for schools.
