Congratulations to all our people who have received Performance Awards in the last three months. You have been commended on your courtesy and professionalism by our customers, residents and the community. Here are some examples of our teams going above and beyond for our customers.
Community is Key
We were delighted to present Performance Awards to our Lining Crew in South Perth, WA in recognition of the outstanding level of performance demonstrated by the team. Our crew’s professionalism and community relations resulted in a personal testimonial from a resident on their level of work during an emergency repair of an underground asset in South Perth. Congratulations to the team for demonstrating our core values – well done!

Knowledge Creates Wonders
Josh Amosa was recognised for his consistent proactivity in everything he does. Josh took the initiative and learned about control breakdowns to gain more of an understanding of how systems work to increase their operation efficiency. As a result, Josh has significantly reduced unnecessary damage to our equipment, and we are operating more efficiently.

People are the heart
Community relations are the core of our business. Terri Sommerville is the perfect example of successful relationships, going above and beyond to meet and exceed our client’s expectations. She was recognised for her work in the Bundle 13 project, the largest SSRP package Interflow has undertaken for several years. She worked with the crews to ensure that our community consultation commitments were adhered to. With Terri’s guidance, we were able to complete the contract with no unavoidable customer complaints and in a timely manner.

A small note with a BIG impact
A message of gratitude goes a long way when a member of the public applauds our efforts and high standard of work. During a renewal project for Icon Water in Barton ACT, our Interfit Crew received an accolade for taking a proactive approach in ensuring the best possible outcome for the client and the community.

Keeping Cool Under Pressure
The crew received great feedback from Sydney Water for their excellent teamwork in the emergency rising main job in Carramar, NSW. The crew worked exceptionally well in a critical situation; they responded under immense pressure and successfully renewed a DN600 rising main and managed to have it successfully operating before the morning peak hour. Congratulations to the team for keeping cool and focussed in an intense situation.

Raising the benchmark for efficiency
Our team in WA continues to take the spotlight after receiving a Performance Award in recognition for their outstanding level of work. The Interfit Crew earned this recognition for displaying consistent diligence and efficiency in every project. The crew’s exceptional performance was shown in the successful completion of over 530 Interfit installs without incident for the entire FY19.

Stepping up in Tendering
An influx of active contracts have been coming through, making this a peak bid time for the Tendering team in which both Bid Management leaders were away. Our Tendering Team banded together to provide a quality management system throughout the bid tendering process. We commend the team for their ability to step up as leaders and reflect our core values of Honesty, Reliability and Competence.

Cross Collaboration Counts
Queensland and Assets
Michelle Adamo and Brad Wroblewicz were presented with a Performance Award for the monthly control reduction of Repair and Maintenance. This not only shows teamwork to increase efficiency, but also shows how cross-collaboration between separate departments can achieve great outcomes.
