Our WA team can handle the extreme!

We have built our reputation of being our customers’ preferred Delivery Partner through our track record of solving their problems – rain, hail or shine. Our team in WA recently did just that when they completed their first water main renewal project for Rio Tinto in extremely hot weather conditions.
The project took place in Cape Lambert, 1600 kms north of Perth. These high temperatures paired with new PPE requirements made the work quite challenging; however, our team adapted to their new situation and proceeded with the work efficiently and safely.
Another important factor was the cultural sensitivity of the area, which meant that a full dig and replace method was not appropriate. Our crews opted for a trenchless solution, completing their first ever Primus Line installation on the 1550m length of pipe.
The customer was extremely pleased with our crew’s quality efforts, having taken careful consideration of the area’s cultural significance. This project demonstrates our commitment to putting our customers’ needs first and our team’s appetite for learning new skills.
Great job, team! You’ve done us all proud.
