Keeping the Ipswich community buzzing

Located in the booming South East area of QLD, Ipswich City Council engaged us to conduct a stormwater condition assessment program in the local area. As a community-focused client, it was essential that we delivered this service whilst placing the Ipswich community’s safety as number one.
As part of our scope, our QLD crew was also called on to treat a chamber located just beneath the local sports oval which presented at risk of partial collapse. The Council was aware that work on this project was urgent and potentially hazardous to those using popular recreation facilities above the deteriorating stormwater system.
To avoid major excavation, our crews selected a trenchless method, using Rotaloc liner through the length of the chamber. A wooden structure was also built to support the area, ensuring a safe working space for our crews.
Through using the tried and tested technology of a compass, our team cleverly mapped above and below-ground. This level of accuracy allowed the solution to be seamlessly executed, so the community could still enjoy the recreational space safely and happily.
This project produced another example of how our QLD team can keep the community buzzing whilst solving our customer’s problems! Congratulations to all!
