We have been awarded two exciting projects in Far North Queensland!
The first package for Mackay Regional Council was awarded in December 2019 and commenced on site in January 2020. The project involves the rehabilitation of 7.5 kms of sewer reticulation and 1.5 kms of sewer trunk mains, which is expected to be completed in May. The second project comprises the renewal of 4.5 kms of sewer reticulation for Whitsundays Regional Council to be completed by June.
Significant rainfall in the area has meant that our teams are working flexibly between the two projects to mitigate any weather delays.
The Far North Queensland lining crew is relatively new to working together, coming from various other teams within Queensland.
