Update On Victoria’s Epsom Road Project
- by Emma Timbrell

Over the last two months, works have been undertaken on the Epsom Road project in Victoria.
The project involves the rehabilitation of:
– 1487m of 1200x750mm ovoid sewer using UV Liner
– 90m of 1000mm diameter sewer
– 5m of Hydratite sealing
– CAC of access chambers
The location of the works are along Melbourne’s major roads in Kensington and Flemington outside the Flemington Racecourse and along a busy residential/ commercial area.
The sewer is up to 28 meters deep and runs under tram lines with minimal straight-down access to the sewer from access chambers. This therefore involves winching lengths of 600m.
Works are being delivered by our One Interflow team comprising skilled Melbourne and Sydney wastewater teams. Crews are working 24 hours a day and are doing a tremendous job.

While the works are still ongoing, we would like to recognise the hard work our teams have been doing. Well done to our everyone for coming together to help solve customer problems.
