Emergency Response in The Oaks: Work Continues

Since we shared this news with you in February’s edition, this sewer line has been completely restored via traditional open cut methods. Our team is currently using Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) to restore the potable water line.
A series of environmental factors have made this project particularly challenging. The collapsed road and pipelines ran over a flowing creek, so our crews had to work quickly to minimise the risk of sewer water contamination. Additionally, limited mobile phone reception made communication between our customers, suppliers and subcontractors very difficult.
Our team had to work diligently to coordinate this project and to ensure open communication between our stakeholders.
This is a great example of collaboration under pressure to deliver favourable outcomes for the community. Great job, team!
