Earlier this month, on March 8th, we once again showed our support for International Women’s Day (IWD). Across the company, people came together wearing flashes of purple and engaged in constructive conversations about what IWD meant to them.

In Sydney, our Managing Director, Daniel Weaver, took the opportunity to speak about this year’s theme of #breakthebias. Daniel spoke about how he’s often asked if his son will lead the company just like the four generations before him. While he expressed that he’d love for his son to take over one day, people forget that his daughters will have the same opportunity if they should so choose.
In our industry, the participation of women is currently around 13%. To push the sector forward we know that we need to be more open to diverse thinking and perspectives. At Interflow, we’re committed to doing our bit to move the needle and increase gender diversity in the water sector.
