A Culture of Continuous Improvement

There is nothing more inspiring than uniting people with different functional
expertise to work on a common goal. By bringing the best minds together
during our Products and Technical Services Workshop, we created a culture
of change through cross-functional collaboration. The purpose was to deliver
a best practice approach on our Expanda installation process.
Our recent Workshop banded together a cross-functional team of Engineers,
Managers and Foremen to share their knowledge and expertise on our Retic
Expanda Process, equipment and quality initiatives.
During this session, every team member shared their experiences on the
installation processes, ideas to reduce quality incidents, improve productivity
and showcasing their team’s technical capabilities. The whole Retic Expanda
Standard Operating Procedure was reviewed and discussed on how to drive
After an in-house review, the collective ideas and thoughts were
incorporated into an updated Standard Operating Procedure, which was
then distributed within the organisation. The team was congratulated for their
contributions on this successful roll-out.
Not only does cross-functional collaboration ignite innovation, it challenges
old ideas, promotes diverse thinking, increases the momentum for change
and that’s exactly what our team achieved!
