In the north of Sydney, our team has been at work inside the Northern Suburbs Ocean Outfall Sewer (NSOOS), removing silt and debris, and repairing the walls of the massive wastewater structure.
While our crews work deep underground, they often need to occupy community nature reserves to safely access the tunnel and store equipment.
After recently celebrating a milestone with the completion of a 1.3km stretch between Riverview and Northwood, our team took special care to restore the public spaces they had been residing in before leaving the site.
In January of this year, reserves within the Lane Cove LGA were handed back to the community. We’re pleased to share that thanks to the commitment of our people, these areas were returned in better condition than they were when we found them.
Council praised our crew’s performance, and locals were happy to once again be able to enjoy their green spaces. Congratulations to the team on this milestone, and for Being Your Best for the community.
