Deteriorated underground pipelines are challenging places to work. We aim to make them safe places to work. As well as being a vital element for the health of our people, working safely is important for our continued growth.

So safety is an important consideration in everything we do. It is part of our culture.

An important safety initiative has been the development of Work Packs. These include site specific forms that must be completed at each worksite and submitted daily confirming that the required safe work practices have been implemented.

The results of the introduction of the Work Pack system have been impressive, with many of our clients investigating the introduction of similar systems to their own operations.

Our Company Occupational Health and Safety Policy sums up our attitude to this vital issue:

Interflow Pty Limited is committed to promoting a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, customers and other people at our worksites or who may be affected by them.

Our goal is to secure and promote the Health, Safety and Welfare of our people and to achieve an “injury free” environment at work.

The Company recognises the responsibilities and requirements placed upon it by Occupational Health and Safety legislation and Codes of Practice and will adhere to these principles and provide:

Information, instruction and supervision for all employees, visitors and contractors relevant to the OHS Systems and procedures of the site.
Consultation with all employees on OHS issues, including any changes to work practices and, procedures, or before the introduction of new plant and equipment
Programs to prevent accidents, including coordinating workplace inspections in conjunction with employees.
Managers and Supervisors are responsible for implementing the Company safety programs to ensure a safe work environment. This includes reporting any OHS concerns or issues they become aware of to senior management where these cannot be addressed within their level of authority.
