Our work brings us into contact with the public, including householders, road users, pedestrians and other workers.

Inevitably there will be times when our work will cause them temporary inconvenience.

It is always our aim to minimise this inconvenience and to seek understanding from a Water Authority’s customers that the work we are doing is important to maintaining some essential services they take for granted.

We must always understand that we are working around people’s homes, streets and communities.

Our commitment to the community extends to our support of the Water Industry’s charity “Water Aid Australia.” This is a charity that sponsors projects to bring clean water and healthy sanitation to some of the world’s poorest communities, concentrating on countries in our region.

Our support has included major sponsorship of the Water Aid Ball and other fund raising initiatives.
