INTERLINE BX
Interline Bx has been specifically developed as an intelligent cost effective solution for relining man-entry size box sections of any height.
The product consists of PVC panels on vertical walls and Interchem R on the ceiling. In box sections the structural requirements for the walls are different to those of the ceiling. Interline Bx combines the most effective solution to each element of the box section to provide an optimum solution overall.
For the vertical walls flat pack PVC panels with ribbed t-sections are mechanically locked together with separate double ended male locking strips. The PVC panels are held in place between two stainless steel rails; one on top and bottom of the side walls. The panelling starts from the ceiling and extends below the flow level height, lower than what epoxy coating solutions can offer. The PVC panels provide protection against further deterioration and because they do not rely on a bond to the host pipe there are no risks associated with surface preparation/contamination issues. The PVC panels are self-draining due to a unique drainage feature incorporated into the profile. The drainage alleviates any hydrostatic forces from acting on the liner. Installation of the PVC panels is quick and easy making it cost effective compared to epoxy applications. Cementitious grout is pumped behind the pvc panelling for void filling.
The ceiling of box sections are coated with Interchem R. Interchem R offers the most practical and cost effective solution given that box section ceilings are subject to high loads. The ceiling loading makes it impractical and expensive to provide a solution which can support such loads particularly for wide span widths.
